The central idea

ForceGen connects a protein’s nonlinear mechanical unfolding response with its amino-acid sequence through a protein language diffusion model. The mechanical response becomes a design condition.

What the work shows

Full-atom molecular simulations evaluate generated proteins against target unfolding energies, strengths, and force–separation responses.

Scope of the result

Computational agreement under a specified pulling protocol does not by itself establish experimental behavior under every loading condition.
