The central idea

MechAgents organizes language-model agents around complementary roles and computational tools. Their collaboration connects planning, implementation, simulation, and interpretation.

What the work shows

Agent teams formulate elasticity problems, write and execute finite-element code, and use feedback to revise it across different geometries, loads, and constitutive models.

Scope of the result

A successful tool call is only one part of a valid scientific result. Models, boundary conditions, convergence, and physical interpretation still require verification.
