The central idea
VibeGen uses a two-agent generative approach to propose protein sequences guided by target vibrational motions. It treats dynamics as information that can shape the design process.
What the work shows
A designer proposes sequences and a predictor evaluates their target normal-mode amplitudes. Full-atom simulations provide a computational check on the resulting vibrational behavior.
Scope of the result
A target mode describes part of a protein’s dynamics. It is not a complete specification of biological function.
